This is driving me absolutely insane. I want a site or program that will give me stock quotes that aren't delayed 15 or 20 minutes. I am even willing to pay for it. Ive looked on google among other places and I haven't gotten anything besides esignal.com that messes up everytime I try to register. I dont want to join scottrade.com or open an account anywhere, I just want freaking real-time quotes! Any help would be greatly appreciated.
You need a Microsoft Passport login (I think you can get one with a hotmail account), but MS gives free realtime stock quotes : http://moneycentral.msn.com/scripts/webquote.dll?iPage=qd
The Microsoft Link is 20 minutes delayed, as is qcharts. Are there sites that dont have a 20 minute delay?
re: delayed quotes - I don't believe there any free sites with instant quotes. My online broker has *free* instant quotes. Don't you have a broker? Otherwise why would one care about instant quotes?
Did you click on the link that said "Real Time Quotes" on the left-hand side? I'm sure those are umm... "real time".
Turns out there are two kinds on the same website- Real-time and Delayed. Now why in the hell people would look at the dealayed quotes, I don't know. Thanks for the link.
