    Olajuwon and the likes of Ewing knows there days in the league is numbered;So they're trying to SQUEEZE every Damn Penny they can get!! Thar's why he's going on OPEN MARKET VALUE than individual value!Olajuwon really worth the Veteran Exception if you think about it! He has all those Denny's across town and he's Greedy!! Him and his brothers! Until Olajuwon leaves, We really can't see where Cato is, If he isn't getting Starters minutes. Olajuwon is stunning the Growth of our younger players! Rudy and Les knows that Olajuwon main GOAL now is to get PAID!! At there own expense!We can draft Woods and get younger FRESHER legs at the rookie level exception who can probaly put up the same numbers Olajuwon is putting up now or even better! Hell Cato can do better I think!

    LOL, please. Now thats what I call Dream bashing...so quit! And it's stunting, not "stunning". And we have no other young players to stunt at center than Cato, and he doesn't need anyone to stunt his growth.

    Yes, Cato can do better, but he won't because he's a good for nothing punk that needs to be cleaning the floors of peep shows for a living.

    Olajuwon didn't stunt Cato's growth.Cato was supposed to be the starter,but got injured.Hakeem also got injured later in the season,but played reasonably well after recovering unlike Cato who did very poorly.
    Cato is not even half as good as the 38 year old Olajuwon.

    -Kind of hard to be an NBA Center when you have NO BALLS. John Starks has exactly one more testicle than Kelvin Cato does.

    YEAH, get off Cato's back! He's had TWO, count em, TWO good games in two years with us. What more can you ask for? When Olajuwon leaves, he'll have two THIS year!!!!

    I am not saying that Hakeem asking for 10M is right but I would rather pay him that than pay Cato one more cent. Hakeem at 38 is twice the player. How about team chemistry? I am sure Cato's "wonderful" play and attitude make him a locker room favorite. He is a plain and simple BUST. We will be better when he is out of here. I would keep Dream anyday.

    I think the Rocks and their fans (that's us, BTW) have at least 42 million reasons to stay on Cato's back.

    toogq99 = Kelvin Cato?

    Cato shows no heart, no will, and basicly no want to play. Not here. Not anywhere...

    I am disappointed with Cato, too. However, I can't understand the level of irrational hatred. Give him another chance. He was injured last year and he is unfortunately still learning how to play. Our best chance to get out of the mess his contract put us in is if he can improve so he is of use to us in games or as trade bait.

    What alternative do we have? Who wants him at this point? Why dump him for someone elses's overpaid player? This is all that we can get. We must hope for a turnaround. It has happened with seemingly more hopeless cases.

    However, everything I said above goes out the window if his team mates have given up on him and consider him a "cancer".
