Er...well, a week ago I got into a fist fight and ended up smashing my fist into some guy's head...but I hurt the hand kinda bad. And the swelling has gone down and it's somewhat less painful...but on my ring & pinky fingers...I don't have any knuckles. They're just gone...in it's place it's now flat (actually almost indented) and painful to the touch. I don't have exactly full range of motion (can't ball my fist super tight any more) and it's still rather painful. But I mean, if the knuckles are gone they're gone, right? I'm trying to avoid a doctor's visit.
Yeah, you may have broken a few bones (or at least cracked them). Go see a doctor. Why wouldn't you go to a doctor? Do you not have insurance?
I have insurance...but I haven't used it and don't want to have to learn all about it and junk...that poo is complicated.
Now would be a good time to find out how it works. You don't want to ruin your hand. Unless you plan to replace your hand with a machine gun.
No...it was a one shot kinda deal. If the guy hadn't been my friend since the 5th grade, I would've been more proud of having knocked him out. Fighting is stupid anyway.
you need to see a doctor. a pretty easy choice if you have insurance. you asked for advice, and that is my professional opinion
when i first read the title of the thread, i though, "man you must weight ALOT if you cant find your knuckles..." you better go see a doctor about it. better safe than lose function of your hand.
You have insurance but you don't want to use it because it's too complicated? Why even pay for insurance then? If by complicated you mean having to log into a website and find a doctor that is on your plan, then yes I could see how that is worth ignoring the pain of a broken hand.
