here is how i know chris connelly does not watch basketball: he asked cuttino mobley how to guard the best shooting guards in the playoffs. when you start asking cuttino those types of questions, you don't know what the hell your talking about because cuttino plays next to no defense.

im not bashing cuttino i just think he doesnt play defense. and i laughed my arse off when he asked him about defense. :D

I liked how Cuttino gave the same answer in different words for each player.

Kobe " You gotta keep in front of him."

    Finley "You gotta crowed him."

Walley:)confused: ) "You gotta follow him."

Basically, he just said keep close to all of them didn't he.

"keep in front of Kobe" means don't let him by you. Make him shoot his damn turnaround; he ain't that fast, but you can't crowd him, because he is too long and tall, so can still get you on his side...which is bad.

"crowd Finley" means he can't get past Mobley, and Mobley knows it, so he will crowd him to stop the shot.

"follow Wally" means chase him without the ball.

Am I the only person who doesn't think Cat is a terrible defender?

No, you're not the only one. Cat isn't an excellent defender, but he's not as bad as some portray him to be.

the thing with cat is that he can play excellent defense when he chooses too, but for the most part he doesn't. he's undersized but his quickness more than makes up for it. when he wants to he can keep people from getting around him.

He's no Glove, but he's about the only perimeter defense we have, and I will say he's very solid.
He seems to be the only one putting effort a lot of the time....and Kenny Thomas.
    My opinion.

BigM, I agree with you, but I'll take it one step further. The whole team (including Steve) can play D, but it's usually when they're down by 20 late in the 3rd period trying to rally. I've always said, if this team plays like they do in the 3rd qtr for the whole game, we'd have a better record.

I got 10 bucks that says that Cuttino hooked up with golfer Jill Mcgill back stage of unscripted.

I also would like to add:
