Anybody watch those shows on ESPN today. I only watched about 4 minutes of unscripted before turning it and then I only watched about 5 minutes of PTI, but they both seemed to suck. PTI seems stupid just listening to two people go back and forth and then having them always eyeing a little 90 second or 60 second clock. I stopped watching unscripted pretty quick so maybe it got better but I doubt it. Anybody else happen to like these shows.
Tony Kornheiser is the biggest freakin' idiot in sports talk. The guy has absolutely no clue what he's talking about. Today, he claimed that 79% of casual sports fans wouldn't even know that Arizona had a baseball team. He's rooting for the Yankees because of that fact, even though he said that he would root for two small market teams to make the World Series because a small market team sometimes captures the imagination of the country...like the Mariners. WELL, THEN WHY IN THE HELL DO YOU CARE IF THE YANKEES MAKE THE SERIES JACKASS?!?! He turns around and refutes his own argument in about 27 seconds. Which is about the amount of times he hear his dumbass between commercials. Here's a rundown of a typical hour of his show: 9:00-9:06-commericals (normal) 9:07-9:19-inane talking about something non-sports related like waxing your body or Izod shirts 9:20-9:21-The Duke with Sportscenter, which Kornhole inevitably interrupts with dumbass comments 9:20-2:29-commercials 9:30-9:39-actually decent sports talk, but only because of the guest...today he had John Riggins and Al Michaels, but he still tried to steer the conversation away from sports 9:40-9:41-The Duke with Sportscenter, which Kornhole inevitably interrupts with dumbass comments 9:42-9:49-commercials 9:50-9:54-promoting his new show, today, he actually recorded some of the promos...ON THE FREAKIN' AIR 9:55-9:58-commericals 9:59-talking about what is coming up in the next hour. I'm so pissed that 1490 is gone here in Austin.
