I don't get it, either. What's so "unreal" about comparing Ron Artest's totals from all 69 games of last season to the 22 games that Ariza has played this season?
let's be fair, we asked ron to do a lot last year without mcgrady (handling the ball...) laker fans would say artest is a HUGE upgrade over ariza right now. let's just say both teams are satisfied with what they got.
I guess you're right, it is amusing to see a trade where generally both sides are fairly happy with what they happened. Ariza is definitely better for us than Ron would be, so I'm not quite sure just what knote is supposed to be pointing out to us. And Ariza has been asked to handle the ball a lot too (much to the displeasure of many people.)

I know 22 games are not many but Ariza is a steal. At age 24, he is compared with a former DPOY already. unreal
unreal in a good way, that's ron at what should be the lower end of his peak years, while that's Ariza at 24 yrs of age and the first year he's ever been in an expanded role. HE's actually been better handling the ball the last 2 or 3 games and appears to be on his way to becoming a solid offensive weapon, not sure about all-star or top option, but definitely more than was originally expexcted..
Actually last year Artest was quite good for Rocets too. Only problem is he stops the ball too much. Ariza fits this team better because the ball keeps moving. That made up for his worse 3pt% shooting than Artest.
I agree with you, theres times he fakes his guy in the air and then jumps away from them to shoot instead of into them. I dont get it really.
