I wasn't overly impressed with the movie. It looks as if the major improvements are the lighting effects and the physics of the characters' bodies as they are shot. The corpses sliding down the stairs was actually pretty impressive detail.

The Unreal series has been changing their release dates for PC stuff really often lately, yes. Unreal 2 was slated to come out in May, but that's been pushed back til Christmas. Unreal Tournament 2003 (just re-named from UT 2) is due out this June, I think, pushed forward from the fall.

I know how release dates for games can be so I'm trying not to get too excited. Compared to the look of UT, which was great for its time, it looks like a giant leap forward - if they manage to just approach the playability of UT with UT 2003 then I may never be seen here again ;)
