D-Wade is back in original form, may be even better than ever. He was great with Team USA, but I still had my doubts. Good to know he's still a beast, easily one of the more enjoyable talents in the league for me to watch. I was worried we would miss out -- yet again -- on a superstud due to career-crippling injuries (Penny, Hill, you know the rest). Oh yeah, he handed the Spurs a nice little beat down tonight as well...on national TV. Anyways, with the Rockets getting Artest and D-Wade being back, this is shaping up to be an enjoyable season for me...
I'm still waiting on our depth and versatility to finally shine through. Through the first 6 games we haven't played one well offensive game with fluid ball movement. I honestly believe what we're missing at the moment is either alot of time to meld together with the addition of Artest and/or Battier to resume his playing time. I would love to see Artest and Battier potentially on the floor at the same time but even more so the fact that we would have a beast of a player coming off the bench along with the additions of Landy, Brooks, and Barry.
We will get there, we're 4-2 now (should have been 5-1), so not a bad place to be when nothing is going right in terms of offense/chemistry. People just need to be patient and not spazz out following each game. It took a while to build Rome...
I saw this coming. The Heat being good. Baffles me that people talk about Oden, Mayo, and even Love before Beasley. Its like he is flying under the radar. Haslem is one of the most underrated players in basketball. And Chalmers may wind up on the rookie 1st team.
That lifts a huge weight off of Battier's back. If I was Battier, I would have felt terrible for ruining Wade's career.
Seriously! Freak injuries happen people, and I seriously doubt that Battier has lost any sleep over it. A little dramatic on your part (not bobrek, obviously).
Ya, I wouldn't care. If I hit some baby pedestrian being an idiot on the street I wouldn't feel sorry for them. Accidents happen. Only the weak dwell.
If I had one, absolutely! It's between him and Chris Paul, really. These two are freaks in their own right. On official business ;-) I will still be coming and going from the BBS, no more going back to binge-posting again...those days are behind me. How the heck have you been? Hope married life is treating ya well... P.S. Sorry everyone for derailing my own thread
You are not excused. Just kidding. You should go back to binge-posting if you have the time. And yeah Wade is back. He's really fun to watch. Just wish he had a better team around him.
I love the intensity he plays with. He goes all out every night it seems like. If he ever would have developed a 3pt. shot he could be mentioned as the top player in the game. Welcome back D-wade.
He's putting up monster numbers: 26 ppg 6.5 rpg 8 apg 2.7 spg 1.7 bpg 47.8% FG If his numbers hold up for the rest of the season, it should be considered one of the best season statistically.
Friends, I submit to you (sorry MadMax ... That the four best players in the league are far ahead of the rest, namely: Kobe, Paul, Lebron and Wade. There are other terrific players in the NBA, but those four are in a class of their own.
