T-2: I'd give that show an A. It took quite a while to get inside, but it was worth the wait. Very cool special effects made you feel as though you were part of the show. New Terminators show up and the plot is a nice extension of the movie. It was the best part of Universal Studios if you ask me. Waterworld: A, good show and plenty of action. The action is both far away and close. Boring story, but good action and stunts. If you sit up close you will get wet. Cool plane crash came right at me. Hot chicks and some stars in the show. Wild West: B-, Somewhat funny, but I've seen that stuff a thousand times before. Takes a while to get into the action. One Hot woman would have gotten it a better grade. Tram Ride: C, Saw some cool stuff like the u-571 sub and Psycho House, but Jaws was being renovated. Damn. Grinch Set was there. Mummy 3 being filmed, but I saw nothing. Backdraft: B+, It takes a while to get to the cool stuff, but once you get into the fire room it's like being in the movie (the wharehouse seen), and then the floor drops on you and scares the crap out of you. Very hot and intense. ET: F, Long wait for jack. You give them you're name and expect something grand to happen with it, but all that happens is ET says goodbye to a barely recognizable name. Stupid Ride. Jurrasic, B, Very short water ride, but worth the trip. I sat in the front row and got soaked. Excellent finish to the ride. Huge splash at the end. Good photo ops. Back to Future: B-, I like getting into the car. IT makes you feel like your really in the car, but the dinosaur stuff was kinda silly. Not too bad. Needs some work though. Notes: I went during the week and ran into relatively small lines. Universal walk has lots of cool stuff to do. Overall, B+. Very good time for 43$ ------------------ humble, but hungry. PSJ Universal Studios in Florida has "Twister". That was a lot of fun. A twister is actually manufactured about 20 feet in front of you. ------------------
Damn. That sounds cool! Where is that, in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami....? ------------------ humble, but hungry.
Orlando. We were there in 1999 while they were constructing the Universal Studios Islands of Adventure Theme park across the street. It looked like it would have some really good rides. We'll probably go back in a year or two. ------------------
