Just posted this on the page: clutchcity.net was contacted by an excellent source close to the team today saying the Rockets' uniforms are currently under review and we may see a change in some capacity to the Jetsons pajamas as early as next season, but the season after is a more safe bet. Speculation is it will be the "logo the way it is now without the ball and rocket" and will be "more traditional". The Raptors jersey is said to be the one most are currently talking about as a model. Those of you saying the Rockets should lose the pinstripes? You'll probably get your wish as the pinstripes are said to be gone and there is "one person who's pushing for solid red uniforms" (way to go Dave Cebrero!). Best bet at the moment though is white. It is still early as everything is still in the discussion phase, but the uniforms will change.
Awesome news. I hope it's sooner than later and I hope they go back to some form of the red uniforms. Here's to seeing "The Rockets' Red Glare" as a headline again when the Rockets dominate another team.
The best thing about this might not be the uniform change, but the intentions... If they were completely set on leaving Houston in 2003, I doubt they would change uniforms in 2002 and again the year after. Maybe they hope to still stay..

It would be funny if they have a press conference for the unveiling of the new uniforms for the Houston Rocketse and they say "Baltimore" on them. Funny in a sick, twisted sort of way....

First off shandon one thing we never do is doubt clutch everything he posts is always true to the best of his knowledge. (Except on April 1st nobody knows what he'll do then I still remember the Rudy T quiting story that scared the hell out of me.)
