Obama is worth every penny he spends!!!!! http://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-jobs-report-20110604,0,3594048.story
These bad economic/jobs reports will probably convince a lot more Republicans to jump into the presidential race.
Nothing to do with Japan and the manufacturing slowdown that comes from that, or high gas prices largely beyond the president's control, ay? or the impending threat of austerity measures... LOLWUT
Whenever I read anything about unemployment increasing, I know that 100 % of the time that there will be a republican chiming in that we need more tax breaks for wealthy companies. If that's the only viable incentive we can provide a wealthy company to start hiring again, then maybe we need to change something in their greedy minds once and for all. The fact of the matter is that our national debt has to be paid, and trading an empty number like the unemployment percentage rate for jobs and then passing the tax burden on to those same poor or near poor people you just gave jobs to because of the incentive to the businesses, is downright unethical and vicious. It's like 3 card monty, and the poor people always come out the loser.
That's not the number we're waiting for, the number we're all waiting for is the fulltime jobs number, as extrapolated by you from the household survey, and doesn't exist anywhere else - as you have informed us, this is of paramount importance. Can you do that for me for old time's sake? http://www.bls.gov/news.release/empsit.a.htm
lol comparing Greece and Ire economcis to american economics let Dear Leader throw another 1 trillion on it, that will show them, and his hot wife
so keep spending trillions, and that will fix the unemployment (heard this before) ? then when unemployment gets right, then how much do we owe?
I should have specified. Cut education spending/social spending during a running recession--- rather than oil subsidies, military budgets, reversing tax cuts for the rich, and foreign aid to Israel. lolololol NOW---this is brilliant! And I say that without a trace of sarcasm.
It's really lovely to hear a republican warn us about spending too much. The republicans turned a surplus into the greatest American deficit in the history of this country in less than 8 years, over oil for the rich and we still had to bail their rich ass out after all of the hike in oil prices and Military contracts. Yeah, I really want to hear what a republican has to tell me about spending.
That just can't be possible because I heard Obama say himself that unemployment would not go above 8% if the mega pork stimulus bill was passed.
A solid middling B. That's bumped up slightly by the fact that I believe if there was a Republican administration instead, the world would be halfway to hell already, if it isn't right now.
you liberals can't freaking argue with out looking into the past. yes i know the past does have weigh ins on the future Obama himself said the unemloyment rate would not go above 8% he deserves a "D" right now; he has accomplished ZERO in terms of the unemployment rate and economy. if its not humanily possible to fix those 2 things in a year a little bit, THEN DON'T SAY YOU CAN
It won't convince "a lot more" but the question is will it cause someone with a legit chance of winning to enter. There's already enough chaff blowing around in the GOP field.
