Don't know if this is underground or hiphop, but I really like that Guerilla Black song "Guerilla Nasty" Sounds a lot like Biggie.
I heard this cat called "The Streets" some white dude from England or something. He did this song called "Lets push things forward" it had something about London Bridges falling down or whatever, I couldn't listen to it without laughing.
i like blackaliscious, swollen members, dilated peoples, and jurassic 5...have cd's of all of them. oh, another good one is sweatshop union - they are under the same label owned by mad child of swollen members.
His new album is due out soon. He's got a song with Hi-Tek too. It should be a banger though. Does anybody out there listen to J-Live? He's another underground artist thats very underrated.
Dr. Octagon aka Kool Keith. thats one of my favorite albums. check his other personas. Black Elvis "Lost in Space" is a great album too. It should be listed under under Kool Keith. Brian

I have heard of some sage, blacklicious and atomsphere stuff. I also recommend very very strongly Dead Prez if you haven't heard of them yet, really good. Also, what about Talib Khalib and Roots, they are in between mainstream and underground, so if he haven't heard of them I recommend checking them out.
