Any experiences here? I'm just taking a break, but I'm writing mine right now. Final day of submission is tomorrow, and I'm still on the introduction. It should've been done gradually, I know, but my experience with my research group was... well, let's just say, less than stellar. Well, what I'm left now is finishing my write-up and passing it tomorrow. My major is Chemistry, btw.
Good luck. I spent a few months writing and tweaking mine. The one for math was a pain. The computer science one wasn't as bad, but it still took a long time. Do you have to present it as well? Procure yourself a few dozen cases of Red Bull and get cracking. Make sure you know the overall outline of what you want to say. Force yourself to get it down on paper even if you're not happy with the way it sounds. It's always easier to go back and edit later on. Hang in there. It'll all be over tomorrow!
I went to Trinity University back in the early 90's, and most of the science majors required a multi-semester thesis type class that culminated with a thesis\presentation. They booked the auditorium for the computer science demos. Presenting a thesis in front of a few hundred people != fun.
That sure doesn't sound like fun...I feel bad for you though. Have you at least outlined everything? I've found that after I outlined all my research papers, they got much easier.
