He was benched on Wednesday and threw a lockerroom tantrum(so I read). Today, he responds by driving in all four runs(two homeruns) to beat the Cubs 4-1. I like it....I like...it.....ah.....lot. Now, if we bench him every once in a while to boil his blood, then he will lash out against opposing teams on the plate. We might have to do it every other game . Keep it up. We need to bounce back. Hidalgo provided a spark today. Now, lets see them get some consistent hitting and pitching at the same time. If I recall correctly, we were stinking up the place in the beginning of last season and turned it on. We are still a good team; just going through some struggles. Still waiting on Bags to turn it on. Go stros...! Surf
Carlos, Roy, Wade, Tim... and others. It really will be scary to see these pitchers hit their prime. Hopefully, they will all be wearing Astros jerseys still. Drayton, if you want to win, keep these pitchers. Now, Doggie is just too sporatic. He gets paid big, but rarely plays like it. I don't see him staying after this contract.
