Uhmmmm, The Rockets really are playoff contenders!!!

Not chapionship contenders!! Give them next year if they sign Webber, then they are ready for the Championship. And if this team keeps a similiar core to what it has now, give them 2 to 3 years before they serioulsy start to be expected to play for a championship.

But as of now, they are playoff contenders. It's just that a whole bunch of teams in front of them saw themselves as championship contenders at the begining of the season. Now its time to seperate the pretenders (Suns and 'Wolves!). And the Rockets are only 3 games out of a playoff position.

Then again the Suns are only 6 games away from the best record in the West.
