I sat in the Grambling section cause believe it or not Robertson nearly sold out.

Probably had more fun there...their band kicks ass.

Kolb was great. The running game was diverse and effective. But it should be against a SWAAC team.

At halftime the Grambling band was phenominal...and then the Cougar band started to do some of the Grambling moves...at first a few in the G' section seemed to take offense but then both bands combined for some high steppin. Was cool.

The Grambling QB has Division I-A talent. They would have almost certainly won thier first 2 games if he had been available.

    The halftime show was awesome.

It was great to see the UH band break it down.

I don't see why Grambling fans would be offended.. the grambling band LOVED UH's moves!

Oklahoma State next week.. i can't wait.. its gonna be a sellout!!

We just beat Southern 26-23 in OT...1st time since 1988..lol.

Yeah Grambling has an okay band...but they can't **** with us!!! ;) lol (I'm in the band over here at Prairie View A&M..the "Marching Storm"). The Cotton Bowl is in 2weeks in Dallas...Grambling State vs. Prairie View A&M.

That was an entertaining halftime show. by the way TJ Ford showed up at the game by my section. Nobody really knew he was there because he was wearing regular clothes.

He doesn't really stand out cause he's not that tall and looks quite normal.

He banks at BOA on Grand Parkway and 59S and he's over in that shopping center a lot...I guess he lives over here somewhere, along with every other athlete who resides in Sugar Land. But yeah, I've seen him a few times and no one ever recognizes him, like no kids go up for his autograph or anything.

Now that is the best kind of famous to be. You can go about your daily business just like anybody else, and almost nobody bugs you.

But if somehow you announce your presence, everybody's like "really? Where? I want an autograph!".

    :D

Yeah, if he played for the Rockets, things might be different. Or if he lived more in the city where kids are into hoops more, then he'd be more famous.

But out in the peripheries people recognize, Rockets, Astros, and some Texans, and the big stars from other teams (like physically big, and also big and famous) like Shaq, who lives in Htown part-time...well actually MoCity part-time.

But TJ grew up in way out there in Willoridge, became a star at UT, but then went to Milwaukee and now Toronto. I think he can live his normal life out here for quite a while.

Briles called off the dogs in the second half, but I still see major problems with our defense. It's nice to see the Coogs dominate a game, but they should against this kind of competition.Kolb WAS sharper.Pope has made a wonderful transition to RB and Aldrige looks fantastic.
Even so,I see us getting drilled by Oklahoma State next weekend.

Definately Doc...am afraid of the Big 12 after the whipping Kansas put on us in the bowl game.

But something that will work to our advantage is OK St's early schedule has been even lighter than ours. Hopefull Kolb, Pope and the boys will show them a little something that Missouri State, Arkansas State and Florida Atlantic did not.

I think it's just his daughter and her mom that live here in a house that he bought for them.
