CUSA refs are a joke. Honestly, you could fill up the library of congress with chronicles of blown calls by those idiots. I'd rather have no rules than these complete and total inept DUMBASSES stepping anywhere near another football game.
You get bad calls in every game, so that was not the difference in this game. I mean, the bad calls went both ways. Settling for Field Goals instead of getting TDs is what doomed us. Coach Briles has done that all season, and I think it is affecting Kolb. He does not seem nearly as confident or loose as last season.
There were THREE bad calls that cost us points during the game. The only blown call that cost USM points was the safety call. (speaking of which, our special teams is the worst I've ever seen) -Bell is a top tier kicker, he showed that last night. I have complete confidence in him, much moreso than our O-line or wide recievers. -Kolb is hurting for Brandon Middleton. Kendal Briles is his only reliable target right now. Marshall is fast, but small. Gibson is big, but not a burner. -Our Oline can play a perfect game one game, and then be the WORST in Div-1 the next week. Kolb is having David Carr syndrome right now.. happy feet, excited in the pocket, always looking over his shoulder. I think right now we only have 2 seniors playing on both sides of the ball, plus Bell. I look forward to GREAT things in the next 2 years.
UH has been a MASH unit of late. Most of their key players are injured. Kolb should run more with ball. He is already in motion before he receives the ball. What the h3ll is that anyway?
