http://www.petitionspot.com/petitions/HoustonToPac16 Sign it, make it happen. Whose house?!?!? Coogs house. University of Houston C/o 2013; Poly sci
yeah, huge UH fan here, and I signed the petition, but there is no freaking chance this ever happens. I'm just hoping my breath that we get sucked into the remnants of the Big XII and help it survive. Even that seems unlikely, but its the best chance we have. UH will not get into the Pac-16, it would make no sense for the conference to do so. I hope they somehow make me eat my words, but thats not going to happen. I suggest that we just go undefeated in football and win the conference championship regularly, things will eventually work themselves out from there.
There's a greater chance that Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel will make a McNulty sandwich than there is for UH to join the Pac-10.
I signed it, but c'mon...that'll never happen...we can't get people in the stands for C-USA games...There's a better chance of me winning the powerball than this happening...that or a Scarlett Johansson, me and Salma Hayek sandwich...mmm...
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this thread isn't going to go really well. Cue the bandwagon haters now! But seriously, the travel schedule alone is cause for it not to happen.
jesus UH, just drop it already. being a houstonian i always root for the coogs but talk about a delusional bunch
It's not so much about getting into the PAC-10. It's about getting the alumni and fan-base more vocal. Conference musical chairs is happening, and even a failed push for the Pac-10 could result in UH landing somewhere better (a rebuilt Big 12, an expanded MWC, etc) as a result. So, stop hatin'. We're allowed to look out for our own interests.
I'm wondering myself if the Big 12 is broken up.... could CUSA pull some of them into our conference?
How about petition to get into a better conference by agreeing to all meet in 1 place and rally. I'd suggest a UH home game.
There's a saying they have in Tennessee.......well I'm not sure...if they say it there.....but we say it in Texas. Fool me once......shame on....you, fool me twice................well you can't fool me twice.
