don't know about you, but for me, if my mom and her friends try to set me up with their daughters, it is definitely not going to happen. I'm not good with blind dates as is (actually never been on one). what about you? How do you get you mom to just stop trying to set you up?
my parents have never set me up, but once caught me fooling around with one of their freinds daughters, it was awesome
I actually have considered telling her I'm gay. anyhoot, here's the latest example of what I deal with ... Yesterday I had this conversation with my mom... "hp, I have this monthly social I go to every month. One of the women knows a woman who knows Jeff (my step-brother) really well. Her family is really nice. We were talking about her daughter. I've never met her but she sounds perfect for you. My friend says she's really cute; her mother is really beautiful. She's Catholic; you're Catholic. She needs to date tall guys, because she's tall. You are tall." i'm just listening, sitting in my car outside Blockbuster thinking about what I want to rent. now the good part. "You should call her. You could take her out to dinner. Just tell her my friend gave you her number." oh yeah, envision this ... "Hi, my name is heypartner. A friend of your mom gave my mom your number. How are you doing."
Is this so different than "Hey, the dating service gave me your number?" Give it a try, you might like her.
There's a girl my Mom wants me to call once the divorce is final. Not that she wants the divorce to be final, but it's her and one of her old friends that's trying to set me up with the friend's niece. The way I'm going lately, I'll take it.
is it just me, or are no advertisement showing up in the ad post. Am I such a boring poster that Clutch and google don't even bother to post their ads.
Seriously, with more than 50% of marriages ending in divorces, I doubt arranged marriage have worse odds.
Take it all in stride, man. I guess I'm lucky; my mom's never tried to set me up. I might be inclined to accept such an offer....I'm beyond dry spell into full-on drought. Droughts suck.
Don't ask me why, but I think of Seymour Skinner and Agnes whenever HP starts a thread about his mom...
it was a yellow shirt! dammit! women seem to be split 50/50 on my sandals. They either love them or feel embarrassed for me. is that the definition of wearing something that is gay?
