    If you are a fan...

    The fight is over.

Ken lost in 3 rounds by "throwing in the towel."

No knockout. But, he was just wore down.

The first round they locked up
and Tito started doing his signature move...

He holds the guy by the back of the neck,
and then knees them in the face.

Ken got hit about 10 times like that in
    the first 60 seconds.

Ken got out of the lock and then punched
Tito in the face and Tito almost when down...

After that most of the time was spent on the
ground with Ken in "the guard" position.

They got up a few times, but it was Tito
that just wore Ken out. Tito got some good
forearms in, while Ken was on the ground.

So, if you ever see pictures of Ken, that's why
    his forehead was puffed up.

    I'm drained...

I've been watching Ken ever since 93.

He was my Man! He beat Severn and
    Royce Gracie.

The only other "old school guy" is Vitor Belfort
that I like. But he has some health probs.

He was scheduled for the Tito fight.

I couldn't believe Shamrock got beat so bad. His face looked like hamburger at the end of the fight...

Shamrock beat Royce? Has anyone made a Gracie tap? What happened to Ruas?

I saw Ken was listed at 205. Thought he was 235 easy.

Yes, Ken beat Royce the same way he got
    beat today.

    He wore out Royce.

Yes, Ken got down to 203 for speed.

But, he wasn't strong enough today.

Tito is like 27, and Ken is 38.

Shamrock didn't just get wore out....he got destroyed. Tito didn't have a scratch on him and Shamrock's whole head was swollen and purple.

    I don't remember Shamrock/Gracie 2 for some reason. I thought it was a draw?

I thought it was by decision.

Oh, well. It was a good fight.

I was for Ken, and Royce looked (for the
first time in his career), beat down. :)

    Destroyed?

    Nah. He got wore down!

It was an accumulation of forearms to
the head/face. But, it wasn't like Tito knocked
    him out.

In fact, Ken took all his best shots and would
    not go down.

    Not in the 2nd fight.

I always hated watching him fight.

It was boring. He was a master of submission.

    But, it was boring.

The doctor had to stop the fight because his face was about explode..... At one point when he was on the ground, his broken nose was bleeding into his eye..

He didn't get knocked out though

Shamrock is a legend- in his prime he would have taken him :)

But Gracie in his prime would have taken them both :D
Doesn't matter how you win, he was 175 pounds and won against guys 280-300, back when there were no rules in UFC

It does go to show that just cuase you appear bigger and stronger that you gonna beat your opponent even in Boxing you will see a dude like Trinidad have all this knock out power against dudes who look all swoll and big I don't know what it is.
I remember watching them talk about the fight on fox sports net and Shamrock was talking bout how he was gonna beat on Ortiz but from what Im hearing Ortiz beat his azz and you don't have to knock a dude out to beat they azz and if that fools face was all phucked up he didn't get wore down he got his azz beat.

Royce only left the tournament once, and that was because he broke his hand. Royce was the baddest man ever alive. Royce makes little guys think they can fight. The only problem is the few rules that the UFC does enforce actually play a major role in real life bar fights. Such as biting and eye gouging. If I wasn't allowed to bite or eye gouge I don't know what I would do. What? Punch or something?

Also, the barroom floor doesn't have as much give as the octagon. Royce may not even be the best Gracie.

After the fight, Shamrock started to go over to Tito to shake his hand.

    Tito started to walk away...

The crowd started booing, and then Tito shook Ken's hand.

Shamrock was a champ in his time (Tito had to show SOME respect).
