I know Best Buy has the U2 cd for just $9.99. That's a pretty sweet deal. The Seinfeld DVD set is going for $79. Are they any better deals out there?

I'll have the new U2 album for sure. 10 bucks? The local Wal-Mart should match that no problem.

Pretty smart marketing (actually, a no-brainer) to get a product into stores in time for the busiest shopping day (Friday after Thanksgiving) of the year.

I'm going to pickup both the Seinfeld and the latest Harry Potter. Any deals out there would be appreciated. :D

No. Same price actually. I just don't really want the CD and...I'm lazy. :)

What about the quality. I used to get most of my music off of online downloading but can no longer take the mp3 quality.

iTunes now has lossless encoding so it is about as close to CD quality as you can get. I end up dropping almost everything into iTunes anyway, so I don't want to bother with the disc.

The newer versions of iTunes also have lossless encoders. I know studios that use them to drop rough mixes onto disc or use them for demo masters. It's that good.

I may get the Seinfeld DVD, but I really don't see the point. I've seen every episode at least 20 times and it's on 4 times a day (6 on Wednesdays) so why spend the cash?

    A little commentary isn't work 80 bucks.

And yes, I still watch it 4 times a day. ;)

My sentiments exactly. As far as the new U2 album...pass. I've never bought a U2 album so I'm not about to start now. I just don't dig U2. I think their overhyped.

I could probably justify spending that kind of money on it for one reason. Having the 1st 3 seasons in something other than syndication quality is a plus.

Okay, I just bought the 3 DVD set - but I'm wondering if I should've bought them separately. The only difference that I can see is you get some playing cards and salt shakers with the set, and it's 20-25 dollars more. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I'm thinking of taking the set back and just getting the 3 seasons individually, unless there's some extra content in the gift set.

I just got back from Target. I bought the U2 cd for $9.98, a penny cheaper than Best Buy.

I passed on the Seinfeld set. I'm with you other guys, it's on tv enough to get my fill. The box set was $89 at Target.

i bought the two volumes seperately at frys for 29.99 each. the gift set was 79.99 i think but you're right it's about 20 bucks more for just a few novelty items, the dvd's are the exact same.

Hmm, I bougth Seinfeld DVD in separate boxes. $50 total from B&N. I buy it only because I can figure out the bigger picture about the stories now. I have been watching those on TV time after time but it's not easy to figure out which stories happen first,
