Who ya got and how do you see it? Corso and Herbstreet both gave the nod to Miami in a close one, if anyone cares to know. By the way it's on ESPN2 at 5pm our time. (I now see there is a thread in the Houston Sports forum, but this includes a poll therefore it is greater )
Can't they tie? Don't get me wrong, I want UH to win and think UH CAN beat the hurricanes but... isn't a tie possible?
I'm just sayin'....I know who Kevin Kolb is, the QB of the Coogs, Senior, been around a while.... But if they need some dude named Karl Kolb to come through, it could be a long night!
HAHAHAHAHA, sure...Houston's really going to win. Miami "sucks", but they don't suck that much. Miami will win easy and I'll be there tonight; I just hope the rain stops.
Couple of bad calls went against us that took the ball out of our hands and took points off the board. Battle fumbled away our place in the top 25.
yeah, we did get that one call where I believe Avery stepped out and came back in (unless he was pushed) but that drive didn't turn in to anything anyway did it? (maybe that was when Battle coughed it up...I don't recall) so i guess that's kind of a moot point. but the one play that really ticked me off was when we had Miami deep in their own territory and their slot receiver fumbled and they ruled it an incomplete pass. that was just sad. you could clearly see that he had possession and was making forward progress before the DEFENDER knocked the ball out. how is that not a fumble? maybe i'm missing something... THAT would have been points. the drive where Battle fumbled would have been points. missed opportunities abound tonight...
One thing you can't fault is Kevin Kolb. He made very minimal mistakes, if any. His throws were crisp and on target. He had about 3 or 4 critical drops that should have been big gainers. The one thing he couldn't do is outrun Miami's D line, which, well, not many people can do. Our O-line blew goats in the second half, period.
