i apologize if this has been mentioned in other threads, but given that chandler is on the block, would he be worth parting with mot or juwon? at least this guy can grab some boards, and could perhaps hone his defensive skills here with yao. mot could provide the spark off the bench... any thoughts? 04-05 CHI 8G 23.8Min 7. 1PPG .558FG% .529FT% 7.40REB .6APG 1.13SPG .75BPG Houston trades: PF Juwan Howard (8.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 0.6 apg in 20.6 minutes) Houston receives: PF Tyson Chandler (7.1 ppg, 7.4 rpg, 0.6 apg in 23.8 minutes) Change in team outlook: -1.2 ppg, +3.6 rpg, and 0.0 apg. http://bbs2.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?threadid=87214 Its on the front page called PF Solution. Also in the NBA Dish
it would be a dream come true 7'6" yao ming 7'1" tyson chandler 6'9" boki nachbar 6'8" tracy macgrady 6'5" bob sura that would be a nice lineup in spurts throughout the game.
I didn't know how much Chandler sucked until I watch him play. The dude basically has ZERO offensive skill and is as thin as a stick. Not sure he is a fit in any system, and he won't be cheap even. Basically he is just a tall dude and happen to be able to jump a few inches. Basketball? What Basketball?
So what do you guys think about the trade I suggested there? http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87218
also, he has only averaged 22 mins in his nba career... and thats with 7 rebounds give him a full time job, and thats at least 10 rebounds per game plus this dude is so young! = room for improvement
Okay, if we are only talking about spurts...check this out . 7'6" yao ming 7'2'' dikembe mutombo 7'1" tyson chandler 6'9" boki nachbar 6'8" tracy macgrady
