If you listen the anti-Morey crowd, Morey only drafts seniors. Tyshawn Taylor, a senior, is the classic backup point guard with the score first and score second mentality. He has elite skills at driving to the basket. In the whistle happy NBA, his ruthless style of attacking basket will be rewarded. He plays defense which the Rockets value. Taylor can shoot the three. Taylor pushes the tempo. His ability to see his teammates may be improved if he put on a blindfold and used the force. Decision making basically revolves around...Do I have the ball? If yes, shoot. If no, get the ball, then shoot. He had a horrible NCAA tourney shooting. Alas, he's not undersized so he would never be a Morey pick.
