No question about it. I won't lie. When Brandon Jennings was flat out nuts earlier this season, I said he was the ROY....but I didn't say it was him by a blowout or Jennings in a mile. I said It was just Jennings. I knew that eventually Jennings will fall back down to earth, because Come on he's not going to score 50 points every game especially when he did it against the Warriors. Tyreke on the other hand has been consistent ALL SEASON long. He's been doing a bit of everything, scoring, playmaking, rebounding, everything, even clutch layups. Before this season had started, I had said Evans was going to be the ROY. I honestly had no idea how good Brandon Jennings was until I saw him play this season. It's funny...because when the original star players, Kevin Martin and Michael Redd play, Evans and Jennings' production goes down. I think they both might eventually be on the trading block and might be a hot sale when the trade deadline arrives.
No doubt. Evans is just a pure stud. He has been consistent, clutch, and efficient. Very impressive as a rookie. Jennings is very good as well, but Evans has performed a tad better. I agree, they do make both Redd and Martin expendable.
i was about to say the same today...overall evans deserves jennings is shooting 40% from the field...i have a feeling the 50 point game will get him the award though
we were pretty lucky that he was injured when we played them at houston. Thats another team that we don't matchup well against.
I highly doubt it. It won't have that much of an effect especially when he did it against the Warriors. Tyreke Evans is joining my favorite players list, favorite non-Rocket of course. I just love Evans game.
Not to mention FG%. Evans is way higher than Jennings. If Evans can increase his range and add a 3 pointer to his repertoire, he will be dangerous in this league.
