Tara's son has a Tyco remote controlled Spiderman monster truck that operates at 49 mhz. For my son's birthday, I bought him the Hulk monster truck so that they could play together. When I got it home, I realized that the Hulk truck worked at 49 mhz as well, so they couldn't run them together. I called the ToysR'us to see if they had the 27 mhz Hulk truck but they didn't. After looking all over town, the only Tyco truck that worked on 27 mhz was the "Gravedigger" truck. I called Tyco and they told me that they didn't only made both Spiderman and Hulk in 49 mhz and Gravedigger only used 27 mhz. I asked them how two "super hero" truck are supposed to run together and his answer was "Get a gravedigger." So I did. Then I took the Gravedigger and Hulk frquency components and swapped them. Now the Hulk runs at 27 mhz. As for the Gravedigger, I took it back and told them that the frequency was not set right and they should send it back to Tyco, which they will do. Tyco...pfft!!!
If you really loved your son, you'd scrap all this toy car crap and get him an 11 horsepower double seat go cart. He can even ride it with Tara's kid. Sure it says "ages 12 and up", but age is really just a number, right? MORE POWER!
is that one of those wimpy powerwheels things?? WEAK! This kid need speed. Don't you even love your son?
Look at the symbol on those spot lights. "Plutonium... wait, are you telling me that this sucker is nuclear?!" Man, if your son bumps into a wall, duck and cover....with duct tape for good measure.
FT, how is that roll-bar suppose to help anybody if that thing flips over? Anyway, major props for sticking it to Tyco.
The best Xmas present I ever received was a Go-Kart painted to look like the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard. The whole neighborhood was jealous of me. I would put around the neighborhood singing: Just two good old boys , never meaning no harm Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with the law Since the day they was born Straightening the curves, flattening the hills Well someday the mountain might get 'em but the law never will Making their way, the only way they know how That's just a little bit more than the law will allow Just two good ol' boys, wouldn't change if they could They're fighting the system like two modern-day Robin Hoods
Well, yesterday, right after school, I took my son to the fun park for a birthday of fun. Tara and my parents showed up about 30 minutes later an it was on!!! 4 pizzas, $50 in games, Go Kart racing and 4 hours later, we were back at my house having cake, ice cream and my son was opening up his presents. He also is fired up about getting the Hulk RC truck...especially after I told him the movie was coming out this summer!!! The car has 3 speeds. 2.5 mph, 5 mph and ludicrous speed. My sons head does not poke out of the top like the 12 year old in the picture...Even so, these things are bottom heavy...Even after my son and Tara's son collided, my sons car slid up the roll bar a bit but never tipped a bit. Regardless, I have been looking for seat straps for them.
I was making a reference to Back to the Future, but I'll play your game Trebek. "They've gone to plaid."
