For those who may have wondered about him, I noticed in the NBDL Player Directory that Thomas Hamilton is playing with the Roanoke Dazzle.

Let's trade Cato for Hamilton. At 360, Hamilton can play Shaq pound per pound. ;)

This might be the forum where "<i>Hell, the slower people in the group can even talk about ex-Rocket Tracy Murray</i>," but dammit, if gordita talk is supposed to go in the hangout, so is talk of two sandwiches.

Who you calling slow, Crispee? Just looking for bodies up front. :p
By the way, did you hear Rudy's been having problems with Mario? And I hear there's been some tension between Clyde and Barkley, but I don't buy it. :D

Did you hear the rumor that Rockets PR came up with a JR Richard bloodclot scare to return fan favor to Dream after last year's money stand-off with Floyd Patterson??

I don't believe that one, either.

I can't believe they moved the Rockets to that po-dunk town Houston. Well, that fella Pat Riley looks exciting.

Personally, I think that the only thing standing in the way of Two Sandwiches having a great career is his weight and attitude. The natural talent is there.

I agree. He's a pretty good free throw shooter too, for a big man.

Sorry, I'm slow; that's why I'm posted in this thread.

    I meant Sugar Ray Patterson.

Derrick Chevious was a steal at the #16 pick. I think he's gonna be better than Manning. In fact, I think he outplayed him in their college matchups.

Horry over Minor? Oh boy. What is Rudy drinking.

I just saw my first game at the Summit last week. I love that place. I hope the Rockets stay there for many years and don't decide to build a new place like all of these other teams.

Btw, have you seen that Vince Carter kid for Carolina? Man, he can jump.

I was playing in this summer league and there was this kid TEARING the place up....His name was Bower....Bowey....Oh yeah, Sam Bowie....Man, for a teenager, that guy was TOP...

The this little kid comes out says he can fly...Something Jordan, he called himself....Man, you should've SEEN Bowie ripping this big moth up...

I think he's gonna add a new dimension when he joins the NBA in a few years when he's eligible...

LOOK OUT NBA....I hope we have a high pick that year...*fingers crossed*

What's up with drafting that Tomjamovitch (sp?) fella at number 2? They should've let him go to the ABA. He'll never make it in this league, and I guarantee he won't see 1972 with the San Diego Rockets.

They list Hamilton as 7'1" / 345# on the Roanoke roster, The starting PF Lorenzo Coleman is listed at 7'1" & 300#. Coleman has college experience and was Roanoke's first supplemental draft pick.

I wonder if there are any posters planning on attending a NBDL game? Roanoke will be on ESPN2 on Dec. 25th as well as Feb. 11th & Mar 4th of 2002.

Maybe the NBDL is the solution for the Cato problem. It doesn't appear that the CBA prohibits the signing of NBDL players even if a team is over the cap. Denver signed Chris Andersen to a one year deal @ $291,704 and they are at $51.2m (RealGM).

I heard Lew Lloyd & Mitchell Wiggins were Lucas' best customers. I can't believe we're playing a bunch of crack addicts.
