good lord, how in the world do you let someone take you to double overtime when you are playing 5 on 4?

There's a Rockets joke in here, but they're on the upswing, so I'll let it pass.

My freshman basketball team did a similar thing against North Shore, of all teams. At the start of the first overtime we went down to 4 players, and by the end of that overtime we were down to 3. We played a second overtime with 3 the whole way and lost 85-81.

When we were down to just three players I remember our coach calling a timeout, grabbing his clipboard and drawing one dot on each side of the lane and one at the free throw line. Then he said "We're going to run a triangle zone...I guess..." and just started laughing.

It was the only sports team I've ever been on that got a standing ovation for losing.

Go CATS! Way to Bear Down!!! Our girls don't give up easy! :D

How could the refs actually still be calling fouls on those girls?

This is pretty remarkable, especially between two large sized universities.

I thought this was going to be like one of those 100 point games by one person involving Indiana Basin Silt College and Lafont University. (Let's see if anyone gets that reference ;))
