Steve, Cat and Magic come back to earth, so do Wolves and Eddie Griffin. a Wolves fan wrote about Eddie: " I think your spot on with your assesment there. His point are down because he is getting less tick. Hes getting less tick because he has very little low post presence for a PF. His rebounding is poor and his entire low post game in general is poor. We are getting killed on the boards and our interior D is horrific. A PF that stands above the 3pt line 80% of the time hes on the floor doesnt really help that problem. " an Orlando fan in REALGM wrote about Steve and Cat: " Most undiciplined back court in the NBA = Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis. They show up when ever they want, they do what ever the hell they want in the offensive end. The play defense when we play great teams other than that they could care less and they are always winning and crying the ass off to the refs. "
Are you sure you didn't just pull those quotes off the ClutchFan message board? People warned Orlando fans about the Francis/Mobley backcourt, but their fast start and the Rockets struggles early had Orlando fans laughing at us and saying we were wrong about them. boy how things change in one month! Orlando should still make the playoffs. And good old Eddie Griffin. How many times did ol' Eddie bust out and have a good game or two and then fade into mediocrity? Same old, same old.
Cat is not the same player as he used to be. I watched him play in the last several games and he is just terrible. Getting blown out by Chicago is embarrassing and SF3 was schooled by Hinrich again even without JVG.
Orlando just loss to Toronto. 4 losses in a row. They'll be alright... can't expect 'em to take these weaker teams serious. Wait till March, Francis is gonna take over. He won't have Jeffrery on his back, and he'll take his game to the next level. Freedom to do what he wants any ole' time. : D
Classic! PS. Eddie is definitely back to his old ways. Minny should be glad they did not over pay. Best wishes to him.
