After TNT added two more Rockets games (vs Wizards and Shaq/Yao II), ESPN added two more as well (vs Mavs and Shaq/Yao III). Hope this news isn't too late. If it is, ignore it please.
wonder if this will carry on to espn in australia, yao v shaq I got added at the last minute, hope so any of the aussies with espn know???
why in the world would they show us taking on the Mavs? it will be a boring game..cuz the Mavs will blow us out of the building like the last two games
espn thinks the fans want to see yao abuses bradley, but it's not going to happen because softy lafrentz will play center most of the game.
Will Shaq vs Yao II be added to ESPN Australia? I certainly hope so! More coverage for the Rocks, gotta thank Yao for that -G'day-
Folks, this isn't about us being great. It's about one or two other teams -- the teams that were originally scheduled to be televised on those nights -- sucking. Remember when the Rockets started to get yanked off the national TV schedules late in the season in '99 and '00? We b****ed and moaned then. Now we're beneficiaries of the same cruel business logic.
the rockets sucks or not sucks; it doesn't matter. these games are about yao. the nba/espn are trying to introduce yao to america.
at this stage (middle ot the texas tech v texas ncaa game) they're still advertising denver v san antonio, but we can still hope! i think they'll bump the nuggets for a "good" game. at this stage the online foxtel guide is not displaying espn at all, so no help there...
harumph, try the austar.com.au site as an online guide for espn, still has jugs v spurs though Smeg edited by Smegistrator to remove typo that was an accident and as a result mildy funny
Over four thousands tickets of Rockets @Nets are sold through direct sell within Chinese community here in NJ already, considering relative bad attendance rate even in Nets's NBA final year, these sellings are showing Yao's popularity.
