http://twitter.com/chrisbosh [http://www.twitlonger.com/show/282u51] Despite reading too much into it, I still like it when he puts our team first
I'll take third. It's not that we're behind Miami and Chicago, it's that we're behind Lebrone's team and Wade's team.
Until there is at least a verbal commitment or Bosh has come out to say Houston is no longer considered, Do not take ESPN's placement of the Rockets into consideration. They will talk about Chicago/New York/ Miami because of the appeal of the audience.
that's just because he met with the rockets first. bosh is still evaluating all the opinions, and miami is the lead runner, according to current reports.
If Bosh has already asked for a max deal (i.e. S&T) from Toronto, then its really in Toronto's court to get a deal done with whoever offers the best package and not for Bosh so much top pick his destination.....assuming Bosh is cool with the new team. Of course, in a perfect Bosh-world, he can end up with his buddy in Miami...or maybe go to Chic if Lebron goes...but as long as he is coo, with Houston as one of the teams he will go to, then its all good. In our case, he made it clear that he is intrigued by Houston and what we have to offer so, imo, we have an equal or better shot than Mia or Chic in terms of trade assets. Im tired of Bucher and Broussard (perhaps the worst hoops insider EVER) pretending that they know who is in the lead......bc unless they know what each teams respective offers would be, then they have no clue
I think its just in chronological (time) order and not in preference order. By the way, your title sucks!
LOL your sig is funny. But yes. I have a feeling that Bosh wouldnt mind coming to Chicago, Miami or Houston. But I think he wants to help Toronto at least get some assets back. So whoever out of those teams give the best deal is where Bosh will go.
Wrong Bosh still has most of the control. He can always bluff and say, Okay I'll just Sign with Miami I don't need you for nothing. I will say if all things are equal, meaning Bosh doesn't care if its Houston Chicgo or Miami as longas he gets his Max Contract then Miami might have the edge because they can give Toronto 2 things they covet 1 their first round pick that they traded away in jermaine Oneal deal and 2 a huge 16 million trade exception. They don't have to take on any salary, gain a first round pick and have the ability to do their own sign and trade deal for Al jeferson or some other talent. That being said Bosh can still choose Houston and say take the deal or get nothing and then put Toronto on the block. In the end it might come down to who is the beter bluffer.
That would be true if Bosh hadnt already come out and say that he wants a max deal...period. The ONLY way he gets one is a sign and trade. Once Bosh "ok's" a team, then the Raps need to see who has the best deal. He has already put his cards on the table and said he wants the max. If he wanted to bluff, he could have said that he isnt thrilled with Houston as a place to play
Not quite. If Bosh wants to force Toronto's hand, he can. And... why would he agree to a sign and trade that guts a team he would be going to?
