Looks like a shallow indie bargain game, I'll wait for a price drop. If it was not for nostalgia I prob wouldn't touch it.
Mortimer, I believe... I used Thumper, the pink lowrider, back in the day. Its flamethrower was a beast.
twisted metal is fun but it's not worth 60 bucks, it was worth it when the price of games was 50 bucks and you could get it for 30 bucks on sale or something like that.
There's no reason anyone should ever be buying a game at 60$ anymore. Amazon and other retailers often offer preorder day deals with gift cards or seasonal b2g1 deals from other stores usually make 50$ the highest anyone ever has to pay if they're willing to wait. Game looks great, I played Grimm. <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jjp55M37ysc?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Jjp55M37ysc?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
I was definitely an avid Twisted Metal player. Actually, this game in particular really brings back some fond memories, because it was one of three games that my cousin showed me the first time I saw a Playstation. The others were Tekken and Battle Arena Toshinden, both fighting games. At that point I still had an NES and Sega Genesis, so seeing my cousin play these games was pretty much a religious experience. I was totally blown away. I have this image burned into my mind of my cousin playing the Warthog character and driving around the Suburbia level. It was just awesome. Of course, now I play Twisted Metal 1 and 2 and I find it difficult to stomach the lack of anything resembling actually physics. It really is pretty much just a nostalgia thing at this point. So the new one won't be an automatic buy for me, but if it gets reviewed well enough, I'll probably pick it up eventually.
I remember taking twisted metal 3 and putting it in my CD player to listen to the songs on it. That said thumper was the best just freeze them and get close to use the flam thrower. .
Twisted Metal Black brought some good memories. Love the dark storylines behind each character. Only problem is that I don't have a PS3 :/
Warthog was my character. I have tm2 for my ps3, at first I laughed at the graphics but I got into it again; still love it. Also athiest preacher I also played battle arena toshiden, I still listen to the character music from time to time. I love Ellis and her sexy ass. I got a poster of her that I used to hang up in my room.
