OK, I know you're laughing at the title, but think about it...

It is late in the fourth in a very crucial must-win game. The Rockets are holding on to a tenuous 3 point lead. Here's the lineup we put in to shut the other team down:

    PG - Francis
    SG - Mobley
    SF - Griffin
    PF - Cato
    C - Ming

Now, Ming can flat out score. Trust me. So, Cato being in the PF spot will not cost us points, but WILL provide the extra shot-blocking presence in the middle to shut down ANY possibility of a layup.

Griffin in my opinion, is quick enough to defend against most small forwards. He reminds me a lot of Robert Horry in that respect. Plus, he is a monster on the boards, as we saw last year.

So, we still have plenty of offense with Ming, Mobley, Francis and Griffin, yet we have three HUGE shot blockers and rebounders on the floor to either block shots or grab rebounds from any misses.

This would be a great pick for the Rockets. I hope they don't decide to chicken out. The risk is worth the gamble.

If you want to do that I would pick Cato are center. By the way, should we draft Stoudamire instead of a SF at #15?

Believe me, Yao Ming is the ONE.

He will amaze everyone of you if Rox is lucky enough to have him. Sure he has a lot of room of improvement but even now he has moves that we spectators can only marvel.

Still remember I saw him dunk from almost the penalty line. Can Shaq do this? And he has power to dunk with two bigs' hands and legs mingled with him. (This was during the third game of CBA finals this year.)

. . . as opposed to Cato, who can't even dunk with his own two big hands . . .
