    Well NBC has announced a new show where they take 8 groups that sing a cappella, and have them do a sign off, the 8 groups are:

    The Sing-Off are Beelzebubs from Boston, MA, Noteworthy from Provo, UT, Face from Boulder, CO, Maxx Factor from Baltimore, MD, Nota from San Juan, PR, The SoCals from Los Angeles, CA, Solo from Omaha, NE, and Voices of Lee from Cleveland, TN.

    Song selection is key. These guys have a few other good ones like Apologize, What Hurts the Most, Angel of Mine, etc

    Once again, Fox and NBC wage their battle of who can rip off whom. Fox makes "Glee" so NBC comes up with this. I'm a professional singer, music teacher, and choir director, and I STILL won't watch this. I must agree with the other posters...

    A friend of mine is a vocal coach for this show. I've never seen it, but supposedly she "coaches" one of the groups.

    For her sake I'm glad people watch it. ;)

    See, this I don't get? Why not relish in the opportunity that other talented musicians are getting?

    I mean who knows what this might open up for people like yourself, any type of exposure to the mainstream can only help.

    So, why would you look down your nose at something that celebrates music and choir?
