so I was catching a bit of the emmys last night and seeing people nominated for tv shows I've never heard of let alone seen got me to thinking that there are a lot of shows out there I've never even seen a full episode of let alone a season.

Whats your list of shows never seen but want to see? Criteria would be never seen more than 1/2 an episode of the show.

For me I am only going to include somewhat more recent shows since shows that were popular when I was a kid I didnt see but thats more because of my parents controlling the TV and not me.

so here is mine (and yes I have lied before to people saying I have seen/watch a particular show to stay in the conversation)

sopranos --didnt have hbo till last year too late to start watching then
    prison break
survivor---curious as to what all the hubbub is about
law and order -all of them svu and all
csi -all cities (arent there 3?)
24---i know first season happened when i had a late lab so kept missing it never caught it afterwards since i was behind
    prison break
    its always sunny in philadelphia
    dexter
    ER
    the shield

i've done a lot of catching up in the last year on comedies i had never seen and i am caught up now but still have a long way to go.

after seeing the emmys last night there are a lot of other good shows I should probably look into like damages and mad men

Hayesfan, only 6 of your 12 are on non-cable TV. Of all those you mentioned, I've only seen maybe one episode of WEEDS, DEXTER, THE SOPRANOS, and JERICHO.

I still don't understand why they have CABLE shows in the same awards as REGULAR TV shows. What happened to the "ACE" awards?

Dexter is the only show I watch, I never want to be to a point in my life where I have time to watch like 7 TV shows on their schedule!

I don't watch TV shows. It's all seems like crap now. So, my list is long.
Honestly, if it's on NBC, ABC, or CBS I probably haven't watched a full episode.

In fact, reading through the primetime lineup over this week, I have never seen a complete episode of any of the following (some, I've never even heard of):

    Sopranos
    Entourage
    Prison Break
    Mad Men
    Law and Order
CSI (any of 'em ...Miami, New York, SVU..etc.)
    24
    Its Always aunny in Philadelphia
    Dexter
    The Shield
    Reno 911
    Friday Night Lights
    Jericho
    The Office
    Grey's Anatomy
    House
    Carnivale
    Dead Like Me
    Lipstick Jungle
    Wonderfalls
    Battlestar Galactica
Stargate (I saw the movie, but not any TV shows)
    Heroes
    Boston Legal
    NCIS
    Without a trace
    New Adventures of Old Christine
    Criminal minds
    Ugly Betty
    Cold Case
    The Unit
    Brothers & Sisters
    Desperate Housewives
    King of Queens
    Smallville
    Supernatural
90210 (new one or old one)
    Priveleged
    Gossip Girl
    One Tree Hill
    Dawson's Creek
    Felicity

:D ^ why didn't I post "... and, Fatty, I know you will say they were CRAP, too, but... what happened to the... " ?? I knew that was coming.

Anyway, people nowadays watch TOO MUCH TV. Maybe watching one or two or three shows would be okay.

Fatty we are like Karmic opposites

Law and Order, all versions are horrible, Survivor is the basest of human interaction and should be banned from television and CSI is at the very least entertaining, if not accurate.

DrOxford... you mentioned a couple I forgot. House and Supernatural I have loved every episode of House that I have seen, but that is maybe six or seven episodes. Friends have told me that I might like Supernatural.

The only shows that I watch on a weekly basis now is Chuck and Heroes. Everything else is DVR'd and I watch when I have an hour or two.

yeah i love my DVR my roommate and I hardly watch any shows when it aires..I generally watch all my tv late at night or right after work when I come home to relax for a bit before going out for the evening.

during the summer though is where I catch up on like the shows I mentioned above since there is hardly any new programming content on then and no NBA

    Entourage
Supernatural (started watching it in the first season but didn't have time anymore)
    Sex in the City
    L-Word
    Sopranos
    CSI (LV and New York)
    Heroes

I have NetFlix but I don't think I would have time to watch all of them or finish watching them until years later.

I LOVED Dawson's Creek, old 90120, Felicity and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They rocked. Now the WB & Fox shows suck.

 Where are my KIT NC-17-rated scenes!?!?!?! What must I do to get some?!?!?! Has the world gone mad?!?!?! Dear Lord, please...!!!!

That show seems like a Lezbo Melrose Place. Everyone effin' everyone else. I'm no longer interested, nor will I watch it, unless I get some Kit scenes.

House is one of the best shows on television, I recommend watching seasons 1-4 immediately

    Agreed.

    Rockets
    Cowboys
    Survivor

are pretty much the only things I watch right when they come on.

Heroes, 24, lost and wrestling I get around to eventually.

Anticipating the dollhouse eagerly. Watching Battlestar right now with the wife.

I watch other stuff, but it's in the background while I do other things and I don't really care if I catch them or not.
