Anyone watchin? I searched for a thread, but surprisingly couldn't find one. I watched yesterdays episode, it was interesting I guess, but the show should be called "I'm trying to be a celebrity, leave me here". Stocked full of no names and non-celebs.

    The Roster:

Heidi Montag - MTV, The Hills
Spencer Pratt - MTV, The Hills
    Frangela - Comedy Duo
John Salley - Former NBA Player
Sanjaya - Former American Idol Contestant
Torrie Wilson - Former WWF Diva
    Janice Dickinson - Former Model
    Lou Diamond Phillips - Actor
    Stephen Baldwin - Actor
Patti Blagojevich - Ex-Governor of Illinois' Wife

I watched about 5 minutes then changed the channel. I was under the impression (by the title of the show) that there would be a few actual celebrities, not just a bunch of reality TV castoffs and washed up D-list has-beens.

I also noticed that the show is on 3 times a week! Uh...come on NBC. It's like you're not even trying this summer.

I watched a few minutes of it. I agree most of these people aren't really "celebrities."

    It's actually 4 times a week...

It all seemed very scripted. It's like they told Spencer that he needed to be a villain, except he cannot act, so it comes off very awkward.

I tuned in last night, but I don't see myself watching it again.

    Spencer Pratt to the producers:
can't you give me a script or something?

Can't wait till this douche is reduced to Melissa Joan Hart status, paying tabloids to keep the appearance of relevancy.

Everything wrong and unholy in cable TV and pop culture for the last 5-7 years; with the exception of Lou Diamond, whom I wish were a bit more famous or successful. I'd say the same for Stephen Baldwin if he wasn't a complete and utter moron.

Youch, (I'm watching for the first time tonight - TIVO rules). Gotta say I'm pulling for Salley - even if he was a Piston (I rooted for the Pistons when Salley was a member when they were playing the Bulls and Celts) although via hindsight - I wouldn't root for them now. They were flat out DIRTY.

I just wanted someone to dethrone the Celts although now I realize the Bad Boys were really the Bad Boys and the Celts; as many Championships as they won, were really legit.

I was heartbroken when "Bird stole the ball" from Isiah, but after seeing what Laimbeer did as well as Mahorn, Isiah, etc, I can't believe I ever wanted them to win.

Still, Spider Salley was a class act and I wish him well.

It's all an act and you are being played by Spencer. The only way for him to stay relevant and keep making money is for him to be a douchebag. No one would care if he was a goody 2 shoes.

He's an actor, The Hills isn't even reality it's pretty much a scripted show.

I have watched some of it but really only to see Torrie Wilson. She actually looks good without the makeup on unlike the other 'hot' women.
