MacBook Pro to my Pioneer Elite TV. I've basically connecting the DVI to the television and pulled off exactly what this guy in this article did: http://www.engadgethd.com/2006/03/03/new-macs-connecting-to-hdtvs-they-just-work/ But my question is how do I connect the audio speakers from my TV to my MacBook Pro? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am a relative n00b when it comes to this kind of stuff. Thanks.
? You mean the audio from the laptop to the pc? Just get a cord that has 2 RCA jacks on one end and a headphone jack on the other. Plug the headphone jack end into the pc, and the rca ends into the tv. I did it with mine.
Watch out, because TV's and PC's don't have the same refresh rates, you can damage your TV. I know PC's can adjust to fit TV's (the beauty of Vista), but Mac's can't as easily, it might require tweaking. I would read what your laptop can push out and what your TV should receive. Top choice in TV's tho, elites are awesome, Macs not so much.
