Does anybody enjoy this show as much as I do? Best detective cop series in my opinion. Patrick Jane is a badass, the Chuck Norris of detectives. I can see however how some people could dislike this show, with how Patrick can come up with things and not explain it. But still... awesome awesome show.

About as much as Battle Star Galactica rip off of Star Trek I'd say.

I enjoy the show, watch it (& Psych) when I can.

Patrick Jane can be a real prick.

Robin Tunney (Lisbon) is not so hot, while Amanda Righetti (Van Pelt) is smoking.

Psych is way better though and so many levels. The cracks in Psych about The Mentalist are too funny.

Gonna start on it after I'm done with Californication. Heard it's a pretty good show though.

Its one of my more favorite shows. It brings a little bit of everything and its pretty well written. Sometimes there is quite a stretch on how Jayne comes to conclusions.

It gets formulaic at times. It's personality driven like House.

I think they need to get over the Red John sideplot because I don't see how that could last for the entire series.

It's no Barnaby Jones, but it's OK.

Anybody else still watch this show? It seems like everyone is too busy watching Breaking Bad and Walking Dead.

Watched the first three seasons. The notion of an investigative consultant seems distractedly unrealistic, but happy for Robin Tunney and Simon Baker to have long term, high profile work. If they're far removed enough from a Red John story arc, the Jane character's attitude is great. There's also some rich guy character who they've used a few times and he and Jane have a nice comedic synergy. And they seem to make the most of casting and story-lines for the senior officer.

That show is targeted more narrowly to a certain generation and is much more about the friendship between the two characters.
