The Jeffersons was actually a mid-season replacement and didn't air until January, 1975.

Most of you are too young for this, but there was a drinking game associated with this show..."Drink to Bob"...every time someone on the show said "Bob", you drink. Believe me, you could get quite drunk watching this show.

(And for those you say I was too young to be drinking while watching this show, I have one word for you....re-runs.)

I was 10 in '74 and loved the Planet of the Apes series.

I had forgotten all about that -- which reminded me of Lancelot Link Secret Chimp -- another show I loved.

I think it was actually from much earlier than that but was in reruns around then

If they're too young, they need to relearn it. "Hi Bob" is a great drinking game. And Bob Newhart is on Nick at Night all the time.

(Notice I said "Hi Bob" and Bob. I believe you owe me a beer and a drink, sucker.)

Agreed. It's been too long. I have tickets to an Astros game next month, maybe we can plan something around that?

I haven't seen it on Nick at Night in a long time. Cheers, Cosby, Full House, Roseanne, Wings, Three's Company, and Who's the Boss rule that station now.

I find the Cynthia Cooper stutter drinking game to be fun also. Looks like I will be heavily buzzed for the second half of this year's Rockets games too.

But it's hardly on there anymore either. A quick search on my Dish doesn't show it playing in the next 48 hours.

It's one of my top 5 shows of all-time and I want it back!

You're right again. It's not in the rotation now.

That's ridiculous. Thousands of college kids in dormrooms every night trying to figure how to make a game out of drinking beer to the pig on Green Acres. That's just not right.
