So the episodes premiere was on last night of the new court drama, Shark, starring James Woods. I've always been a big Woods fan because the guy has taken playing a sleazy prick to new levels in his movie career. What's interesting about this show is he takes the best parts of that kind of character, little one liners edgy in-your-face attitude, and throws in a little bit of humanity to give us the win-at-all-costs trial lawyer with a heart of gold. Some stellar acting by Woods (especially when he finds out his daughter might move to New York...just that look on his face made my wife cry). I don't normally watch new shows like this because the last thing I want is to get hooked on another show that I feel like I have to see every week, but I was feeling sickly last night and layed down in bed much sooner than normal and it happened to be on. Now, I'll definitely be watching the rest of this season. Anyone else see this show? What were your thoughts?
I concur. I was thinking of watching 6 degrees but I could not do one more NY life show So Shark won. . . and it was worth it Rocket River I made the right call
I liked it as well. I like Woods and Jeri Ryan...well, you know. I thought it was well put together and, as unlikeable as Woods character is at the beginning, I was rooting for him by the end. Not the easiest thing to do in one show.
