Showtime will air this made for TV movie on Sept 7th. It stars Timothy Buttons as the President. He was the actor who played George W. in Comedy Central's "That's My Bush" series. Penny Johnson as Condeleeza Rice (Penny plays the First Lady on 24 and used to be on Deep Space 9) Another Trek alum, George Tekei will play Transportation sec. Norman Mineta according to zap2it, "DC 9/11" starts on the morning of the terrorist attacks and follows the Bush administration through the next nine days, leading up to Bust's statement to the nation. Would you watch this? Is this too soon? Was Buttons a good choice for a serious role considering his previous work?
They got the guy from That's My Bush? I love that show, but I don't know if they should have gone with him. He also played Bush in the Crocodile Hunter movie.
Ill probaly watch it. I bet by the end of the decade there will be a blockbuster about 9/11 but I think its way to soon for that, a movie on cable should be no problem.
