    David Letterman has come down with a stomach virus and won't host "The Late Show" tonight, so Adam Sandler will take his place, TMZ has learned.

    Sources tell TMZ that Letterman came into the office today, but didn't feel up to hosting. It was the last scheduled taping for the week, so Dave thought it best to get the extra rest.

    Sandler's guests will be his "Reign of Fire" co-star Don Cheadle, comedian Todd Barry, race car driver Danica Patrick and singer Lucinda Williams.

    Dave, who has only been off the job twice -- for heart surgery and a case of the shingles -- is expected back on Monday.

    yeah but theres late night talk shows in like every channel so i get them confused..

    They are all called something different, The Late Show, Late Night, Late Late Night, The Tonight Show etc.

    I wonder how he'll call the TOP 10. I love me my Dave Letterman on HD... I wonder if, being the equinox, Sandler can balance on his EGGHEAD on HD [bass line rimshot]. :D

    moes (or anyone else), don't get me wrong man, but... everytime someone outside the BBS mentions LNWCOB or any Conan O'Brien reference, I think of finalsbound. Am I doing something wrong? :eek: If so, I'll stop. :eek:
