Yeah I get what you're saying. But I liked elements of the episode. The x-wing chase was cool I liked how Frog Lady used the droid to translate I knew Mando was going to get out of danger, but I was legit wondering how he was going to get away from the cave creatures Last season I realized this is essentially a Saturday morning action cartoon; tons of filler with a couple episodes that advance the plot. ALSO Frog lady saved baby Yoda and this trash bag of a kid rewarded her by eating more of her kids..
To me it’s like the rifleman with chuck conner a bit, some story telling that you can take away something of value that reflects to all of us except I’m not entirely sure what the heck the takeaway was here lol, I need to watch some reaction videos and see if I’m the only one
Yeah, I mean there are going to be plenty of "episodes of the week" in this show. That is part of it. Have to accept it and just enjoy it.
Remember that Netflix documentary where the guy gives his neighbor a handjob, then let’s his neighbor sleep in bed with his daughter? That’s how responsible Mando was when he left baby Yoda with the eggs after catching him eating them the first time.
Looks like alot of people hating on ******* baby Yoda I found it so funny and realistic. That is what Toddlers do . . .. Rocket River
I have zero issues with the broad plot not advancing. I just want to be entertained each week and so far, so good. I am not in a rush for this storyline to end anytime soon as who knows if the next one will be worthwhile? I have zero issues with each week being a new adventure of mishaps/hardships with an awesome Star Wars universe backdrop and a good amount of Baby Yoda to satisfy my kids eagerness to see the character. I love the fact that my wife/myself and my 8 and 10 year old kids all really enjoy it. I think it satisfies all ages which is hard to do. I am loving it. Even the "filler episodes" where the broad plot seems to be bogged down.
I was surprised there was no direct follow up with the end of the last episode, but this was decently entertaining. Wondering if the froglike woman has any knowledge of the child's species.
Yeah, "a day in the life of the Star Wars universe" is good TV for me. Just experiencing the universe a day at a time.
It's a total throwback to serialized Westerns. Just enjoy the fact that even the "episode of the week" episodes are better than every Star Wars movie from the last 10 years, with perhaps the exception of Rogue One. It reminds me of X-Files. Half the episodes had an over-arching continuous plot, and half the episodes were stand alone mysteries, monster of the week, etc. In fact, some of the best and most memorable X-Files episodes were the stand-alones.
Also Baby Yoda just doing what he sees his dad doing. You can't be stringing up people and not expecting your child to act the same way
It's a documentary called Abducted in Plain Sight and was all the rage for a few weeks last year. You know you've got a crazy true story when the part about an alien abduction isn't the strangest part.
