Alright, the gig is up. I would like to commend whoever it was that originally figured me out. Yes I am Turn, of game chat fame. I guess I should explain WHY I pretended to be someone else on the chat. Originally I logged is as someone else, because when I tried to log in as ZRB, it said I needed a password. Once I logged in as someone else, I realized that I could maintain some sort of dignity on the BBS, so I could still have relatively intelligent discussions. amd still have a place where I could express my frustrations during the games. I am just like those Relant Energy guys- A very different person during the games. So, I expressed my frustrations on the chat as a different person. Unfortunately, my posts on the BBS started to resemble Turn a bit too much, and I am now pretty much thought of in the same light as Turn. So, with my reputation shot, the purpose of chatting as Turn is defeated. I am not a troll. I didn't do this to annoy anyone. I just wanted to make it easier to express frustrations, while still being respectable enough to talk about the Rockets on this board. Honestly, I think a lot of you enjoyed my presence in the chat. It was kind of enjoyable being Turn, even though I was often banned for being a negative prat. At least I can now take credit for my brilliant headline, "McGrady McBeats McRockets". If I do chat again, I will log in as ZRB, and I will try not to be so negative, and get myself banned all the time. Now begins the long process of trying to build up my reputation again. Unless, of course, I am banned for this, which wouldn't surprise me. I am truly sorry if I offended anyone, but I am sure most of you enjoyed it all anyway. I suppose now comes a heavy dose of bashing. I am prepared if that is the case. I would prefer that I be given a second chance as ZRB, but if you want to keep digging into me, go ahead. But I don't get where you have 2 personalities... you're an ass as ZRB and another ass as Turn. It really doesn't matter who you are; you only got banned when you helped turn the chat into nothing but "bash Turn" night. Once you were banned for saying the Rockets were choking after giving up 4 straight points... it never concerned you that they were up by 18 points at the time. You had been b****ing the entire game about the Rockets and that was the last straw. Oh, and one more correction: You were never banned for being "negative". You were only banned for being a continually whining jackass that did nothing but end up ruining the chat. I once defended your ZRB persona because you originally were nowhere near as negative as Turn was in chat. Then it became apparent that both of you were the same person or as you said you couldn't discern your own multiple-online-personality-disorder. As for a lot of us enjoying your presence in the chat. ZRB I don't HATE either of ya personalities but they get d*mn annoying Negativity depresses me. .. ZRB, What first made me wonder if you were Turn was the hot & cold manic depressive persona, not just your continual negativism. Actually I think you evolved into the continual negativism... before you were just spastic: "The Rockets are going to definitely win!" followed up a few seconds later "they gave up a basket, they suck!". Another blatant giveaway was the fact that you didn't do as many mid game posts when you actually chatted with us. One thing about the internet is that you could be either an 8 year old or a 30 year old and none of us would know... Dude, you really need help. Like I have stated before, you seek attention here because you most likely get no attention in real life. You pretended to not be Turn because ZRB was getting all the attention. Once the ZRB gig started to wane (I bet not starting new threads is killing you), you realize "I gotta do something to get them thinking of me again." So you play your trump card: "I am Turn." Once this thread runs its course, I already see your next move: Register as a new id, cause more trouble to gain attention, and when that stops, admit ZRB is the new id person. Your thirst for attention on this board is a real sign of problems in your real life. Please seek help. My advice to you would to be to turn off the computer and find a support group in your neighborhood. Yes, they are ASSumptions (nice emphasis ). However, it doesn't take much energy to see the craving for attention in his body of posts. I've been watching ZRB for months now, and he has issues. Nobody comes online to fake a personality like his. If this is an act, then he is really clever and extremely bored, or he is trying to fill a void he is not getting in real life. I have seen this in people I know personally, and ZRB is doing it exactly like they did. He may or may not admit it (I doubt he will), but he does have issues. One of the people I mentioned knowing has yet to realize it as well. I'm gonna gather up ZRB's collection of posts and show them to her. Don't worry, I don't really enjoy chatting much anymore. You can say I need help, but this is the internet. I can't really express my true personality over the web. I don't have 2 personalities, just two nicknames. Its nothing more than that. I tried to restrain my frustration on the BBS, but started overreacting like an idiot over the past few weeks. I understand that I have pissed you off in the chat and in the BBS. I am sorry about that. I only ask that you not judge me from my internet personality. Trust me when I say that I am not as big of an a**hole as I may seem on the web. I can promise you that you will not see the "Turn" side of me again. I feel that before the season started, I was a much better presence on this site. I will try to go back to that. Changing my username would be giving up. This is my first time conversing over the web with other people, and I have had trouble showing who I really am. Behad, your comments are just insulting. Look in an internet setting, it really does not matter what anyone thinks. I think the key ingredient here is that we are all Rocket fans. I got the chance to meet a couple of them at Rocketball 4, and they are great guys. I don't mind your ranting...we all do it.... Be yourself, and don't personally attack anyone here. People that do that are just showing a sense of insecurity and a lack of class in an annonymous setting. Everyone has an opinion and we don't always agree, just state your mind. No need to hide... And I have been chatting online for years, and have seen this before. I do not mean to be insulting, I'm just giving my "opinion" (where have I heard that one?) But seriously, as a veteran chatter, I've seen people blur the line between reality and cyber-space. I guess what I'm saying is that you need to quit "trying" to show the real you, and just be yourself. You say you use the board and the chat room to vent your frustrations about the Rockets. Let me ask you this: If you are in a public place, watching a game, do you act like this? Do the people around you get annoyed when you act like this? I suspect you tone things down when in public as to not cause a scene. It's the same here. Nobody here wants to listen to incessant negative noise, just like the people sitting at the next table don't want to hear it. Also, by saying this is your first time, you add substance to the argument that you start those in-game rants for attention. Here you are, new to conversing online, and you use something that is readily present (your frustration over the Rocket's play) to garner 50 other poster's attention. Even when you said you would quit after the Atlanta game, you got so frustrated in the Golden State game that you repeated the same mistake, even asking people to flame you for it. You were the center of attention....again. This helped you relieve the pain of the Rockets falling behind. Not losing the game, mind you, just falling behind. Look, my extension of your need for attention into your real life was rude of me, and I apologize for that. But I've been in hundreds of chat rooms where there was always someone like you, someone ready to say the worst possible thing, just to have everyone talking to them.
