Trying to jailbreak ipod 1g 3.1.3, need help :(

    I have an ipod 1g 3.1.3 firmware and I am trying to use redsn0w to jailbreak it but i'm stuck at the waiting for reboot screen. anyone an expert in this matter want to point me in the right direction?

    You need to save your shsh file from your iPod using tinyumbrella and upgrade to 4.1 after that use the greenposi0n jailbreak.

    Why would you want to "jailbreak" an iPod? I thought this was just with iPhones to be released from the need to be with AT&T. :confused:
