I hate to say but you are indeed correct. It all came down to the stupid interview Trump did near the beginning of the year to say o yea this COVID will be deadly with no regard that could be used against him and one of the building blocks of a Presidents job whether the approach is Democrat or Republican is to protect people ..he seemed to start fine with agreed CDC guidelines but then he panicked when he realized this would hurt his economy numbers and there was no implementation and no example set forth.. heck I was wearing my mask when my daughter (the left leaning one) thought I was being weird back in February when no one was wearing it. I’m semi germaphobic as is ...Trump forgot the Presidency is actually a service position. A lot of ego and being alone on an island...no matter what you do, nearly half the country will have disdain for your decisions and that’s if you’re lucky. Never again should someone without politic experience think about getting this job ...it was a nice try.

To be honest at this point I'm thinking Trump would've won if he had been half way competent on Covid.
