    Note:

Trump related inflation - Trumpflation - will only affect you if you:

*Purchase any goods where any portion of that good or service or any competing good or service is made in China or any other countries

*Have any interaction with goods or services performed by foreign born nationals in the US such as

    Eating food
    Going anywhere
    Using computer software
    Being in a structure

Otherwise you may be subject to Trumpflation due to tariff and concentration camps/mass deportation

Markets - prepping for the Trumpflation (this is 1-year inflation swap rates):

Note, you can trace the September low point in inflation Swap rates to Sept 10-11, the day after Kamala Harris *absolutely eviscerated* senile dementia patient Donald J. Trump in a debate in Philadelphia.

Good times! Sorry about Trumpflation though. Praying for Trump voters and their families.

I filled up the car yesterday and the gas was not $1.99. The Convicted Felon must have forgot to make that one phone call to get this fixed. I guess Trump is old AF and is forgetful, like most really old, broken people are.

    Just saying.

MORGAN STANLEY: “Over the next two years, we expect lower immigration flows and more tariffs to slow GDP growth and make inflation stickier. Tariffs are “stagflationary. They are a tax” — creating a “rise in inflation,” especially in “electronics, apparel, and furniture.”

This ironic because for the first 3 years of the Biden administration - bank forecasters, financial overlords like Jamie Dimon, and biz TV pundits kept predicting "Recession" and "stagflation"

despite the fact that NEITHER OF THESE THINGS OCCURRED

This time it could be real

Even if prices go up under Trump due to his policies, people that voted for him would deny it imo and lay the blame elsewhere. Remember, Trump took responsibility for nothing negative that happened in his last presidency. He just put the blame elsewhere. He only takes credit for the good things.

Have you ever had a conversation with a Trump supporter?? Have you ever had a topic they couldn’t find a way to swerve over into the “woke” lane as a way to pivot the blame into?

Agreed. Trump is actually inheriting a good economy on the numbers and what we heard during the Summer from low information voters or Trump likely voters was all about how great they remember things were in 2017… when he has a good inherited economy from the Obama years and before they found something to blame for his incompetence.

The same thing will happen with 2025 im sure. Magically in February god king Trump will have waved his magic wand and the Biden economy will suddenly become the Trump economy and it’ll be the greatest thing they’ve ever seen. He’ll pass a tax cut for wealthy people and the markets will get on a sugar high for about 6 months. He’ll bully the fed into low interest rates and people will be thrilled that their 400k home sold for 550k.

But anyone with half a brain (which is seemingly only half of America) understands it’s all smoke and mirrors. We understand that allowing people who can’t afford a 600k homes to buy them is going to eventually lead to foreclosures and a real estate crash. We understand when you give tax cuts … surprise surprise… the government has less money shockingly, and the deficit explodes. Trump voters simply don’t understand that the government doesn’t pay for things like the military on payments from the Chinese government or a giant piggy bank left from George Washington like in the show Ducktails.

So I would be cautious in my hope that people will understand that bad economic policy is actually bad. I do love America still but we have to be honest that this is not the most intelligent group of people to ever walk the face of the earth… or in their case drive their cybertrucks.

What are the odds he's even alive at the end of 4 years?

He's 79 and in seriously declining health - strokes, dementia, motor skills etc

There's a reason why he's basically done nothing but still photos since the election

Well, I can't sing Trumpflation like I can Californication, so at this point Trumpflation is worse until it has an accompanying song.

That is the self sustaining playbook of the GOP/right.

When you are in power as a right wing politician and **** goes south like inflation you always got your scapegoat card deck to pull out and chose a card form like migrants, trans, urban minorities, Muslims, Jews etc. and now you have a dedicated base of supporters who believe you are fighting the "good fight".
