Trump backs out of throwing first pitch at Yankees game https://thehill.com/homenews/admini...s-out-of-throwing-first-pitch-at-yankees-game
Lmfao. Strong commitment to fighting the "China virus", when he was playing golf this weekend. Methinks he knows he will throw the ball less than ten feet and many will realize his Hall of Fame baseball career was a sham. Hopefully he can throw better than he can lift a bottle of water...
If he can swing a golf club I doubt he thinks he can't throw a pitch. More likely, he realized that in an empty stadium wouldn't give him the spectacle he wanted after he saw this
That may be true. He just knows that if it's anything but a strike, after his baseball boasts, he's going to get roasted.
I think it's more the idea that he'd be following Fauci and compared to him no matter what he does, which in essence is lowering him and elevating Fauci even if he threw a perfect strike. Trump is acutely aware of his image. He'd never allow for him to be at the same level.
Somebody please post Obama's pitiful first pitch at the White Sox game. Between him and Fauci, I'm not sure which is more sad. However, NOBODY will ever forget the strike that W threw after 9/11. Epic.
At least Obama isn't afraid to put himself out there. Trump finds plenty of time to go golfing, yet he is canceling a quick trip to NYC three weeks in advance. My guess is he is afraid players will kneel.
