Dozens and dozens of these incidents since Trump's win. Especially disturbing are people mimicking Trump by grabbing women by the p***y - it's now socially acceptable by the right to behave this way. What a sad day:

Lou, you have lost your damn mind if you think you can spin your way out of the mass scale cry baby act the Dems have on display.

How does that justify all the racist acts happening across the country? You think that's people acting like cry babies? Kids getting beat up. Women getting sexually assaulted. Minorities being threatened. Property being vandalized.

You can blame the left, and you can criticize poorly behaved protesters - but why not also critique the racists in your camp? Oh, maybe you support them I guess.

well ofc. They are now true to their nature. First vote for a racist and then feel empowered to finally unashamely act like one.
Oh and if someone calls you for what you really are? Just say that's just PC bs and democratic propaganda.

Well facts are facts and as displayed in the link (where did you get it?;)) there's a spew of racist incidents happening since the results.
As if the racists felt entitled to speak up.

Geez I wonder where they got that idea...

Which is essentially what Trump was urging his supporters to do if he had lost the election. I see hypocrisy on both sides.

The way I see it, these protesters are going through their stages of grief, Ultimately, they need to just accept what happened and "move on". The hatred/resentment on both sides is what led to this result.

Yeah..also when you are at a gas station and some racist piece of **** come and threaten you with guns, you are supposed to just take it "move on" right? Or when people demand that you sit at the back of the bus now that Trump is president. Or all the other cases in the OP...

What do you propose the victims do with such people? Not hate and resent them but embrace them, accept racism and sexism as a new part of reality and "move on".

When will you realize that you're the problem. You, like many in the media - paint the narrative you want using the tiny datasets at your disposal to prove your case.

There are idiots on both sides, it goes both ways - but this doesn't fit their narrative so they'll ignore it. Case in point:

People on both sides need to act like adults.

Losing faith in humanity... not because of the election but because of the way people are acting... shameful it really is.

Republicans didn't riot when Obama got elected. They did something far more more sinister and destructive. They basically brought all of Washington to an ass-grinding halt.

Never said it did justify it. Racist **** on both sides has been occurring for years I detest acts like those in your link and those where Trump voters were beaten for just voting for the man.

This current cry baby act does nothing but fan the flames.

There are idiots everywhere but there are not the opposite sides. Some of the minorities getting attacked might be Trump supporters who just happen to be a minority. It's not the same thing to go after a group for who they are.

Attacking minorities for being a minority is very disturbing. The fact that you lump minorities as "the other side" is troubling as well.

How credible are these stories of people claiming that white men wearing trump shirts are actually beating up muslim women and grabbing women by their vagina? Based on the way these "protesters" are acting, I wouldnt be surprised if many of these stories were fabricated.

My comment was not about those people who are threatening/attacking others. Obviously that is unacceptable.

But that's different from saying all Trump supporters who have different attitudes on race and other issues must be demented and admonished. Even if we strongly disagree with their perspective, hating/resenting them is not the way to sway them.

This is the same thing that people on the right did with respect to BLM. Some BLM protesters may have committed crimes and engaged in grossly unacceptable behavior. But assuming that everyone who supports the BLM movement must therefore be a bunch of violent thugs to be scorned/vilified doesn't resolve anything. That sort of attitude, rather than attempting to listen to and understand where the other side is coming from and engage in dialogue with them, just makes things worse.

Different attitudes on race and other issues.....How many different attitudes there are? I see only two. Equality between all humans and no equality between all humans based on race, sex and religion. There's no middle ground.

What does "equality" mean? What does race and sex mean? What happens when respecting another person's religion also entails allowing them to treat people of another race/sex differently?

These issues aren't so simple as you put it.

Unfortunately, there's a lot of stupid out there. Anyone who uses public transport will have seen it first hand.
