Obama is the posterchild of milquetoast moderate neo-liberal that dominated our politics since the early 90s. Was his CAMPAIGN in 2008 more left than previous Democrat politics? Sure. But his actual presidency... generic Democrat who didn't want to buck the status quo. It's weird to say that as a actual president domestically, Joe outflanked Obama from the left due to his more harsh enforcement of corporations through Lina Khan and his stances on active labor strikes and unions. He wasn't some far left Marxist on those issues but it was relatively more left than Obama during his actual presidency.
Democrat party has gaslit and manipulated their own party more than anything I’ve ever seen. They think so lowly of black people which is why they stopped running on policies and focused on calling every breathing thing racist in order to manipulate their own voters. They keep it up and they won’t have a party left. Maga swept in and took the centrist which is why the election wasn’t even close.
My apologies, I didn't mean Obama's administration was far left...but the tactics and leanings of the party started during his tenure, then ratcheted up during Trump. Lost all semblance of the former party under Biden/Harris

Yep, both Trump supporters. My post isn't to say the people that voted in Trump are all racist, sexist, blah blah, further from the truth. Just trying to show why people make the claim, it doesn't come out of nowhere. It is safer to say that the hard core Maga followers are pretty crazy and dangerous. And there is a wide range of people that are just thinking he leads them to a great future. (Might not share that view but that is that.)
I think this had little to do with centrists coming out and more of one base having excitement for their candidate and the other base not having excitement for their candidate. It looks like Trump got a tad bit more votes than his 2020 election results. Kamala severely underperformed in vote totals compared to Biden\. A lot more registered Democrats sat this one out than registered Republicans and that seemed to be the reason. The Trump campaign caters to their base voter. The Harris campaign catered towards disaffected former Republican voters believing their is a army of them just waiting to vote for a Democrat because they think Trump is nasty and basically running a campaign with the same energy as a GOP campaign from the the aughts essentially.

They're not just supporters but also part of his campaign. Barron's not only a fan of influencers like Andrew Tate & Adin Ross but brought them in to target that demographic. Tate's moving to the US now Trump has won. I'm guessing not only to escape his legal troubles but perhaps to work closer in his role as a MAGA influencer.
Well, if it comes down to the single people's lives you call that fake news .....I guess you need to live their lives then.
